The Women Can Do It! Campaign is a women’s empowerment programme designed to develop women’s leadership skills and build their personal empowerment to enable them to fully engage with decision-making processes from grassroots level to the national level. The Campaign is a collaborative project with the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) and currently exists in 14 countries of which 4 are African: Angola, Rwanda, South Africa and Zimbabwe. In Zimbabwe, the Women Can Do It! Campaign is being run by The Women’s Trust.

The Women Can Do It! Campaign aims to achieve the following: - To mobilize Zimbabwean women to engage with and inform the governance debate in Zimbabwe from a women’s perspective.
- To enhance women’s leadership skills for participation.
- To increase the number of women participating in electoral processes at all levels.
- To generate renewal of commitment to the Women’s Charter, National Gender Policy and MDG’s as rallying points for women’s engagement with national governance processes.
